As well as being a prolific choreographer, Trisha Brown is an accomplished visual artists who's drawings have been seen in exhibitions, galleries, and museums throughout the world,
including (in chronological order): the Venice Bienale (Italy); The Drawing Center (Philadelphia, PA); Musee de Marseilles (France); Wexner Center for the Arts (Columbus, OH); Addison Museum (Andover, MA); Contemporary Art Museum (Houston, TX); New Museum (NYC); Henry Art Gallery (Seattle, WA); White Cube (England); University of South Florida (Tampa, FL); Documenta 12 (Germany); Walker Art Center (Minneapolis, MN); and Le Centre George Pomipidou (France).
Ms. Brown's first solo exhibition of drawings can be seen from May 9-June 6, 2009 at the Sikkema Jenkins & Co. gallery in New York City.
